I have only blacked out once and it was while I was incline pressing 130's on cycle. Made 6 reps felt funny went to drop the weight and all I remember is flopping back in the seat. When I woke my old man was freaking the fuck out because I couldn't move my legs. It took roughly 5-6 minutes for me to be able to stand and walk again. I had no sense of feeling what so ever in my legs or lower back for several minutes. The specialist claims he thinks I pinched a nerve in my lower back while returning the DBs to my knees and putting them down.

Scariest shit ever! Thought I was going to be paralyzed for the rest of my life on that one. What's the best you got?

I've never blacked out but have felt like I was going to when doing shrugs. My breathing technique is crap when doing that workout.

Understandable there man that can be alot of weight pushing downward on all your organs. I try to keep a slight bend forward, rough on the back but if you wear a belt you're good. Makes breathing easier for me personally.

Nearly did on a dead lift. Was goin for a personal best think it was 425. Got it up pulled to 3/4 nearly all the way and then things got fuzzy. Had to drop the weight and stumbled backwards but luckily I didn't go out.

i did black out after some HIIT cardio one time after my work out. usually ill a simple carb before but this day i forgot. I just finished up with my cardio and was coming down the stairs where the treadmills and elipticals are at. i started getting really flushed out of focus. I knew what was a bout to happen. Luckily my wife was with me and brings a glucogon kit with us. after i went down she shout me up and brough me and my BG back to normal range. Its a shitty feeling when that happens

Back in high school we had one of those old leg press machines where you lie on your back and press up. We would load it up with a shit load and crank out reps start out with 25-35 reps and then take a plate off each time you got to failure. It was an old garage in the summer heat so it was brutal. I got up when I was done and then I was DONE. Woke up outside on the grass and then threw up all over myself. Good stuff.

Yes. With me it is a chronic condition which has made me unable to squat. I used to have a decent squat. 405lbs but my hamstrings touched my calves at the conclusion of descent. Not great but after that I started having a hard time walking the weight back in the rack even if it was low as 225lbs, then one day I had 365 on my back n my bud watchn very closely, started to stagger on my in n next thing I remembered was coming to (a few seconds later) draped over the rack. My buds realized what was about to happen n leapt to my rescue. It still occurs as light as 225lbs so I had to exclude squats. Bummer. Heavy deads gives me a Lotta legwork plus the leg press n light squats. Never understood why my body betrayed me on that.

as Steven Wright said.... "ever lean back in a chair and just as you are going to fall over, you lean forward and catch your self........I feel like that all the time" :)
