Im still into the civics id rather have a little speedy car with good mpg then a fast ass gas hogging tank lol. Idk if I want a 9th gen or 8th gen... I have a 1994 civic right now that I've been fixing up . it has the d15 non vtec motor I was planning on swapping for a b series engine but now im starting to think it'd be better to grab a 2010 civic si! on the 94 civic I have got all dents fixed and had a new paint job replaced radiator, cv joints, just all the regular old stuff to make it nice again. You guys think I should dope out the 94 or just say F it and get a newer civic?

I might give up the 2012 Suzuki 250f "7 grand loan 0% Apr " to get one . I've barely been riding it. Do you like the 8th Gen over the 9th.

I seen a old ass mustang 5.0 and a 8th Gen Turbo civic fly by me on the highway it was ridiculous. Felt like a tornado when they went by and I was already doing about 95 . That mustang was winning but that civic si looked clean as fuck
That mustang was no were near stock it sounded like a monster lol

My son was just looking at an SI. I think 06 model with 114k miles. New paint and rims. Is this high mileage for this car? Ill post a pic when he sends it.

114k is up there but it depends on the price and how it was driven. If it was ragged on pass on it.

They are good cars but I've seen plenty that were on the the last leg before 75k because of how they were driven.

My civics at 189k going strong no oil leaks or anything. As long as there taken care of Honda's will last forever. And yes you can pick up engines for cheap! . But I guarantee of that car wasn't red lined all the time it'll be good

Also gotta remember the si has K20 its meant for a little abuse not 24/7 8k rpms of course but enough to show off and haul balls on the highway .

You just got to watch out for the kids that hit vtec from light to light all day lol but even then usually all you need to do is replace header to restore the power

Oh yeah Hondas will run forever. I was just saying a that mileage price is a big factor in it. As long as it wasn't ragged it is most likely good.

Oh ya you deff gotta watch out. I got my 94 civic lx 140k miles for 800$ lol needed paint and it overheated they didn't no why. I bought it slapped new radiator on it problem fixed lol. Buddy got hyped on pre workout and backed onto my car with his truck crushed the hood and fender got 1800$ from his insurance. Step dad was pissed at my mom one night I visited he backed into other side fender got 600$ from his insurance . Took money got it all fixed AND PAINTED. Lol so I came out with a clean civic haha

And on top of that a guy backed into my car at work the other night put a baby dent in hood. Getting 900$ for that so I'll try to pop it out my self or find a guy that'll do it cheap and also get windows tinted or just keep extra $ and say free car lol
