So lets hear what everyone eats before they go to bed. Do you have a shake, a solid, or some combination of both?

I personally like to have a slow digesting protein like flank steak with veggies. It will take hours for my body to digest the meal keeping me from going catabolic during my sleep.

So what do you do?

I'm with you sister I prefer some filet, and quinoa. If I'm hungry after dinner before bed I'll have a shake.

I make a protein cereal. I know I know carbs before bed...whatever my metabolism can handle it. I seem to crave it every night. No sugar cereals like Ezekiel, if not cereal I eat cottage cheese with cinnamon and Stevie.

I eat a combination of whole food and a gainer shake with ground oats. The whole food is usually whatever I have for leftovers...

Last night I was bad. I had four soft chocolate chip cookies with milk. LOL. Usually a chicken breast or a protein shake.

Last night had large salad, 18oz ribeye steak,baked sweet potato and 2 glasses of sweet tea.In bed 1 HR later.Slept like a baby.

Before bed I enjoy a healthy serving, or servings, of Mrs. Mattingly. Yep yep. Prior to that, post workout, my last meal of the day is a 50g protein shake with creatine and my BCAA's.

I'll eat anything that's not nailed down. I make sure that there is slow digesting protein but that's the only rule. I figured out a long time ago that I'll never be a 10% bf guy and I don't get paid to do this, so chocolate is usually involved.

Last meal is 10-12 oz lean beef/ 1 cup mixed vegetables/ 1/2 grapefruit/vitamins/ Lay down then back up in 3 1/2 hours for a shake with p-butter.

I have a casein protein shake and a peanutbutter sandwich. Then I take my supps. Melatonin, calcium, gaba, and a glass of water. The water helps wash the peanutbutter down, lol.

Usually I eat 10 ounces of salmon fish with a small serving of raw food salad and 2 cups of whole wheat pasta. I am trying to maintain my body weight as lost 37 lbs this year with diet plans and workouts.

I'll usually take my last supps (multi, fish oil, green tea extract, etc.) and eat either non fat cottage cheese or non fat greek yogurt... When I'm cutting that's a different story because dairy bloats me quite a bit :( But in general that's what I have!

I usually eat 2 peanut butter sandwiches with about 3/8" thick peanut butter on each one and a 16oz glass of whole milk. Makes me sleep like a baby

Usually a 2:1 ratio of protein & carbs. Protein for muscle recovery and my blood sugar levels and the carbs to help me sleep.

I've been going with 8oz of muscle egg and a scoop of whey! Notice it's working I've dropped 5lbs of fat this past week feel great when I wake up in morning

Before going to sleep it's usually my Carbmaster Yogurt (Vanilla) with a scoop of protein powder.

Late night eating is always an issue for me cuz I work second shift. Its an on going battle to not stuff my face like a pig when I get off. But ive found a few scrambled eggs is enough to curb my cravings. Alittle homemade salsa to go with it of course.;)
