Called it quits after 6. US Army. Not gunna lie, The little misses played a big role in my decision to hang up that life.

was in for quite a few yrs, in a very specialized unit in the military, served several tours in over in half dozen middle eastern countries, now medically retired, got hit a few times and the last one just ended my career, thats the thing that pisses me off the most, they took my career away from me and me away from my brothers!!

2 Afghan, 1 Iraq tour, 10 other deployments all over the world, loved it all till the end. Going back and forth from green USA to brown sand got old! I spent the last 1-8months unaccompanied in the sand!

Hola brothers and sisters! Just noticed this section, pretty cool. 9 years Active Army- I just got out recently and boy does it feel good to be a civilian again :-) Now I'm following around my better half who is active duty, currently stationed in Germany. Thank you everyone else on here for your past and current service!

Most of my family is active duty or past duty Army. Im the odd ball I did 4 years in the Air Force 79-83. I loved working for Ronald Reagan! I didnt like the people in charge of our base and squadron so I got out. : ( The straw that broke the camels back was getting to go and see the First Sargent and chewed out because I didnt use a turn signal while driving on base. I loved the Air Force but didnt like the people in charge!

Parents met in the Air Force and I was destined for the Air Force. That is until they told me to go fuck myself because of my injuries (back and knee) knee was repaired but not by their standards and they told me I would be lucky to make it through their basic with my back. Fucked me good! lol With that being said I have the upmost respect for anyone who has served! You all are the United States. You all are the only reason I am free. In my opinion we are forever indebted to those who put their lives in danger just so I can be the free man I am today. Thank you to you all!
