View Full Version : I personally think the best cardio is running for me?

I love to run on the treadmill at the gym and I find that it cuts those stubborn spots off and if done 3 to 4 days a week , it keeps calories in check and you are in top cardiovascular shape as well. What do you guys do for your cardio? I run 3 to 4 miles a day.

Sexual intercourse. 4-5 10 minute sessions per week.

I also like interval elliptical cardio.

walking on treadmill, stairmaster, swimming, hiking, biking. And sex for 20-30 min! :cool:

best cardio is ... any cardio done in a fasted state ..the best is the kind you enjoy and will do on a reg basis

I like the elliptical for 3 mile run 3 times a week and or biking in the summer

45mins fast walking on the treaddy (daily) when cutting. No cardio when bulking (Calories = Gold)..

Lately I've been running short sprints with some relay type things in intervals. Been a great workout.

Cycling. I'm on the bike 8-12 hours a week. Split between the road, my indoor trainer, and the trails. Hill repeat intervals on the road bike are easily the most intense cardio workout I've ever done.
My passion is XC mountain bike racing so the 8-12 hours spent in the saddle is basically my offseason training for the upcoming race season. The side effect to all this riding is getting ripped to shreds.

When I was into BBing fasted am LISS cardio seemed to be the best bet for losing fat while preserving muscle. Short sprints and sled work was great too.

I was a track athlete in high school & continued running for a few years after highschool, nothing cleared my mind liek running, specially on the outdoors.. I don't run anymore because I have a bad knee.. and for cardio I now do 15 min of curcuits after my workout, I do: Squat Thrusts x 15, Jump Squat x 10, spiderman Push-ups X12, inverted rows x12, side planks X 20 seconds on each side & some burpees.. I do change it a lot... I'm also a fan of HIIT cardio, when I do it I do 25 min sessions on my off days.

Grappling will def help keep you lean. I also like running stadiums. I'd rather have my nails pulled out one by one than walk on a treadmill.

I enjoy running whether it b treadmill or around the neighborhood but lately my knees and ankles can't take the impact I gotta try something new

My cardio is seriously lacking lately! I hate the damn treadmill, not much sex lately, haven't been getting into any fights lately so no grappling and my bike has a big motor attached to it. I better figure something else out!

Love walking the neighborhood after I get up..haven't been doing cardio since it was winter, I want to do it for heart health not necessarily weight loss.

PS- Sex is great as well..
