I need some advice on when to cut out heavy weights and let my muscle heal before my meet. My meet is 3.5 week out. I want to be as strong as possible when i go but don't want to have muscle fatigue at the meet either.

I need some advice on when to cut out heavy weights and let my muscle heal before my meet. My meet is 3.5 week out. I want to be as strong as possible when i go but don't want to have muscle fatigue at the meet either.
I cut the heavy weights out 2 weeks out before a meet. The week prior to a meet I end with my last warm up single I'll hit while warming up in the back room. The week of the meet I actually just rest so that I'm prepared for the meet.
I would listen to SS she knows this better than most.
Yea I keep hearing that same answer so there must be something to it.
This is my last heavy week. next two weeks will be light work, massages, and recovery! Adrol-last 3 weeks and Halo the last 10 days!
You got this bro's. We are all cheering for yall. Only one way to go with weight once its down, up, up, up. That's what I tell myself when I lift heavy.
Thanks guys. It's a common problem that many have... they try to lift heavy to close to the meet and therefore lose some of their reserve when it's time to shine on the platform.
It's because that is a tried and tested way to lead up to a meet.
I'm follow oldgoat and he is done after this week with heavy weight and I will follow suit!
