I'm new to the forum here, but not to the iron game. I'm a novice powerlifter looking at competing in PL and strongman next year. I had trained for my first meet this year but had the misfortune of ending up in the hospital for 5 weeks with autoimmune pancreatitis. I lost over 60 lbs and almost 100 lbs off all my lifts. So back to the drawing board for me. Since I'm still recovering and on medication for it for another 6-7 weeks I won't be able to train too heavy so I'm pushing my goal of doing a powerlifting meet and a strongman competition back until next year. So right now I'm focusing on bringing my strength back up and I've been doing some arm wrestling. I gotta compete in something and it's been an amazing ride doing it so far! I'll be starting a training log on here in the near future and I look forward to learning from everyone. Thanks.
