Do u have SAD? They claim that light therapy, among other things, can help.

And Nasser said that gear was the best cure for depression, not anti-depressant medication.

True HRT (getting back on) and yes UV light helps I'm bi=polar ptsd and seasonal depression, I get so down in the winter I just don't give a damn about anything, considering moving to a year around warmer climate..thanks for your input your right on..a case of I know what to do, I just can't get the ummp to do it..but now I have no choice financially things are a wreck around here.

    Re: Trying to come back

Assuming u can find work, the cost of living in a lot of warm places in the south and west is relatively reasonable. A place like Vegas has a very decent cost of living. No need to stay in the rust belt if u have some portable skills (or can learn them).

For now, I'm stuck in the northeast for a number of reasons, but I'd jump at the chance to move to a warmer climate as well. The winter sucks. You're not alone in thinking that.
