3 -5 grams per day should be enough to maintain muscular saturation.
Creatine monohydrate is probably the best and cheapest form. Its the most studied and proven. 3-5 grams a day is perfect dose as phoenix said for saturation. I usually do 2-2.5g before and then the same afterwards.
