    Re: running

I prefer to run outside. When I'm on the treadmill I like to set that incline all the way up and walk at 3.5 mph

    Re: running

I set the incline on my threadmill to the max I think is 10 & power walk, usually @4.2 speed, but I would much rather run outdoors, but due to a bad knee I can no longer run

LOL on a treadmill...all 20 minutes of it. 10 min before workout and 10 after.

I have incorporated going at 7.0 mph for 12 to 15 minutes every day to cut and its working. I use to stay on a treadmill for distance, say 1.5 to 2.0 miles however I started doing 12 to 15 minute bursts as recommended by Zedhed.

I prefer doing laps or sprints outside around a local football field or park with cleats because I don't have to feel the hard surface on my knees and honestly treadmills are boring
