    Muscle books or memorabilia??

Anyone collect old school books or memorabilia? How about just books or memorabilia?

I just picked up Eugene sandows book the sandow system....it's written in 1894!! It's a cool book and I'm happy to add it to my collection.

Some books I have or have had that I really like either for nostalgia or quality knowledge are.

    Arnold's encyclopedia
    Larry Scott's loaded guns(signed)
    Frank Zane's high def(signed)
    Eugene sandow system
    Nutrient timing
Positions of flexion by Steve holeman

Books I wanna add are more sandow books and more gironda books.

I really love old school books. They fascinate me. I like the old pictures, drawings, way of writing. It's like stepping into a time machine.

How about u guys? What do u have? Any favs?
Blah blah blah Latina's ass...blah blah blah!

I love to read, but never have the time to do so. Some of the good bodybuilding, weightlifting, and sports related books I currently have...

Franco Columbu's bodybuilding & weightlifting for young adults
    Arnold's Encyclopedia (both)
Dorian Yates (Blood & Guts and A Warrior's Story)
    Michael Jordan
    BIG Bodybuilding Instructional Guide
    Bigger muscles in 42 days
My Hero Walks on Water - The Brian Dobson Story (my current read)

I like all of the old pics as well and the black & whites. I like comparing all of the old with the new (Arnold's time vs. the big mass monsters we have now).
“Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his brother.” (Proverbs 27:17) ...and borrowed from A L

If he was competing today with today's drugs holy shit! I think he would blow away anyone! The tiny ass waist those old guys like Sergio and Arnold had was epic. No one today has that look anymore.

Not sure if you've seen this but this dude is pretty awesome, I swear it's almost like looking back in time when you see him.

A bout 20 years ago when the internet and Ebay was a new thing , the post office had this thing called Media rate ..they still do but at that time you could ship magazines for pennies a pound... I put in a bid for a collection of Flex and M&F magazines going back to the 70's for like $25 I won and even with shipping it was about 10 cents a copy. arrived in a couple of Xerox boxes .For some reason it wouldn't fit in my po office box ..I began filling in the blanks ( again for pennies on the dollar ) and eventually at one point I beleive that I have ever issue of Flex magazine ever publish in the US .. and probably every M&F since 1978 .. I stopped buying them a long time ago, but still have them in a closet downstairs in boxes

Ok I got Sergio's book. Kind of dissapointed. It's poorly written IMHO.
Yeah the part about roids and gh is utterly useless bullshit. He claims he did winny and var only for 3 weeks right before his shows and that's it. He doesn't say he used gh. Just that working out makes u secrete gh so does arganine and omnithine. He goes on to say taking gh an steroid is crazy and not responsible.

I need to look at what he suggests more for the workout programs cause what I saw was vague as hell.

Arnold's book or Larry Scott's book is leaps and bounds more detailed and an easier read. I will be buying Arnold's book shortly.

I feel he was just a genetic freak. Ronnie went pro natty so who knows maybe the gear usage it's true. It's discouraging that's for sure lol. If it's true then it's crazy. Most of us will never achieve the bodies of these guys did natty and we are using nearly every drug we can get lol.
