4 Dallas Police officers murdered by snipers with 7 more wounded. Where is the justice for them? For us? Being a former Deputy Sheriff and losing my friend and supervisor on duty to a bad guy, race doesn't matter I am sick and tired of the news the gobt and people who have no clue demonizing us and claiming we are the bad guys. I wish the people would stop breaking the law stop acting like animals and realize that 99% of us or more do the job to help people and protect them we are not there to do otherwise. And now those bad guys are getting what they want. Where is the outrage and protest for those of us, police officers put our lives on the line 24/7.

Latest report that I heard from a press conference.

1 shooter dead (police used a tactical robot with a bomb attached and detonated).

3 others in custody that are not talking.

2 shooters fired from an elevated position.

Lot more to learn about this. Sad sad day in our city and in our country.

The loss of lives of civilians and public servants in our country is absurd.

Watched the story unfold last night while watching the news. Very sad situation for the officers that were involved. My heart and prayers go out to their families. More ammo though for Obama, Hillary and their cronies for gun control. When are they ever going to learn.... guns don't kill people.... people kill people. When Cain slew Abel, did he have a gun?

I am suspecting by the reports that the parade route was secret and by the fact of advanced planning and strategic location that he and others if involved were associated with the parade organizers and that the parade was a cover to lure out the police into vulnerable positions. It is a typical sniper scenario. No way this was a chance guess at where the parade would go. He knew exactly and was able to prepare well ahead of time his hide at the garage etc.

This will not stop tour leaders from the top down stop with racist rhetoric and decisiveness Just listening to speeches coming out of DC about latest police shootings shows our leaders want us to believe that it is white people/white cops that are specifically targeting black people for arrest punishment and shooting. Will we here anything about the specific targeting of white cops? Very doubtful, at least from we won't from the people it matters most, our leaders in DC.

The rest of America better wake up, this what the country does not need, but what the terrorists want to divide us in a race war. I am not in any way saying this is terrorism from abroad or even home grown, but it will be use to advantage. We need to stop with saying everything bad that happens to a black or minority is because of a racist white person or cop or judge or law. First thing is if your black or white or another minority STOP BREAKING THE FUCKING LAW, PERIOD! When the police want you to do something act like animal being with a brain and do what you are told. Don't forfeit your rights but before you decide to not comply because of a constitutional right not to, be sure you absolutely know and understand THE CONSTITUTION.

Police need to to be doing more community policing, on foot, getting to know the community and the community getting to know them as well. And, if a cop violates the law or the constitution, they need to be held accountable. But this crap like black lives matter and go kill cops etc. has to stop. Leaders need to stop bringing race into it and we need to realize we all bleed red. American red blood. We are the same, human beings, Americans, we are a family of 350 million plus people. Let's start acting like it.

The he rest of the police depts oround the country should now be preparing for the to happen daily, war has been declared on them and they need to stay vigilant.

Sad day that it has come to this.

As we mourn this week’s tragic events in Louisiana, Minnesota, and now Dallas, it is evident that we need God now more than ever. My prayer on this day of shock and heartbreak:

God, our heavenly Father, our minds go back to the day when Jesus knelt beside his beloved city and wept, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes” (Luke 19:42).

We sense so deeply the same reality. We weep for our cities even as we bury our dead. The sound of gunfire is the grim sound of what has already shattered our relationships. We are witnesses of distrust, revenge, and anger. We see no one to lead us and guide us. To whom shall we go?

Our differences seem to lead us even farther apart. Oh, Lord of miracles, do what only you can do to save us from ourselves. Give us men and women who will lead us to reconciliation. Give us leaders who will bind us up to heal our wounds, not those who will only incite more hate.

Give us voices that will bring hope and not despair. Please comfort the bereaved and give humility to the ones who are resistant to your ways. Give us pause so that we might sit back for just a few moments to look to you before we look at our impulsive solutions.

We shed another’s blood when we are without answers. You shed your own blood as our only answer. We kill, buried in despair. You rise, giving us hope.

You told Peter to put back his sword and you restored the one wounded. That’s what we long for. A reprimand to the one who would injure and a healing within the one injured. God of miracles, please do it again. We need you. Our nation needs you. Our leaders need you. Many a home today will not have a loved one returning. Without you we have no hope. With you all things are possible—even for beauty to come out of ashes. We pray for the day of unarmed truth and unconditional love. Please answer our prayer.

In the name of Jesus your Son, our only Savior, we ask this.

I would like to share my thoughts......

We have a close family friend who recently became an officer. He worked his ass off to become a cop. He is truly a wonderful man and wanted to become a cop to be a good cop. He truly cares about helping people because he is all heart! Anytime we go to a mutual friends party he always comes up right away and takes the baby. Has done so will all of my kids. He is the baby whisper. Has kids of his own and just adores ours. I always tell him he doesn't have to hold her so long and to enjoy the party. He just smiles and says Im good! Truly a great man.

That said while what has happened is a horrific tradgedy for these officers and their families. On the flip side surely all of u saw the video that went viral or the guy with his wife and kid get pulled over. Guy tells cop he has conceal carry permit but is simply going to grab his ID. Cops lights him up shoots the fuck out of him while his wife and child watch. She had the whole thing on video. Cop didn't even know 4 yr old was in the car. Wouldn't let wife touch hubby bleeding out. Cop was totally out of line and his shooting unwarranted. If he was concerned guy had a gun which I totally understand he should have had the guy place hands on wheel and request backup or a million other scenarios then what took place.

My point is maybe u guys have had good luck with cops and love all the ones u have met and had good experiences with them.

I and most ppl I know have not. I find cops to be power hungry power abusers who simply want to flaunt their position of power and abuse the fuck out of it.
Pull you over for 67 in a 65 on freeway like 2 of my friends in town recently.

I got a ticket for running a red I did not. I asked to watch the video he said ohh I didn't see u do it my leutentnat did....who was 200 yards away on a bike. I had to sign the ticket. I have a cop customer who helped me with the ticket. Still cost $400 for something I didn't do but traffic school was 8 hours and would have still cost $300+

A cop broad sided my father a former NY police man and firefighter late one night about 1:30am( pops worked odd shift at casino back then). Cop was going after kid for curfew and didn't see my dad when making a U turn.
They made my 60+ yr old dad climb over center console treated him like a fucking criminal telling him he was drunk....( he had just gotten off work). My dad went to junk yard to get stuff out of his car and the cop and her hubby cop where at the yard turning my dads headlights off on my dads car...my dad caught them and had words.
City had just changed laws and cap to sue city was $250k. Lawyer told
My dad it will take years to settle and by the time we are done my fee will eat up your $250k.
My dad has since needed neck surgery from the damage from that accident and sill has fucked up nerves and back from
It.

My point is while yes there many good cops with good intentions........I've met far more useless or power hungry cops then good ones.
I've had 3-4 times in my life I needed a cops help and they were totally useless. Told me wife don't call the cops. U need help u call me!

Hardly what has happened is acceptable regardless of how u feel about police and I'm hardly saying anyone should go around killing ppl let alone police.
Just saying when the majority or the population are jaded against police....I'm not surprised these things happen
