Back loading ? Like post workout? If so..... yes it works. Waxy maize sucks ass. I prefer karbolyn. Even maltodextrin or dextrose work better then waxy maize IMHO. Most of the tests u see about waxy maize are actually about karbolyn. I hate the texture of waxy maize as well. It's like corn starch in your shake.....yuck !
I've been eating a few piece of very ripe fruit post workout to help spike insulin. or other high glycemic carbs.
It helps but don't expect to look like Phil heath in a month lol.
It's all about nutrient timing, & nutrient shuttling effects that spiking insulin creates. When used in conjunction with bcaa & isolate protein within 1 hr post workout u help the post switch from a catabolic state post training to a anabolic state.
Or did u mean something else? Lol.
