Lately I've been running short sprints with some relay type things in intervals. Been a great workout.
Cycling. I'm on the bike 8-12 hours a week. Split between the road, my indoor trainer, and the trails. Hill repeat intervals on the road bike are easily the most intense cardio workout I've ever done.
My passion is XC mountain bike racing so the 8-12 hours spent in the saddle is basically my offseason training for the upcoming race season. The side effect to all this riding is getting ripped to shreds.
When I was into BBing fasted am LISS cardio seemed to be the best bet for losing fat while preserving muscle. Short sprints and sled work was great too.
I was a track athlete in high school & continued running for a few years after highschool, nothing cleared my mind liek running, specially on the outdoors.. I don't run anymore because I have a bad knee.. and for cardio I now do 15 min of curcuits after my workout, I do: Squat Thrusts x 15, Jump Squat x 10, spiderman Push-ups X12, inverted rows x12, side planks X 20 seconds on each side & some burpees.. I do change it a lot... I'm also a fan of HIIT cardio, when I do it I do 25 min sessions on my off days.
I love the stair master, it's seems to help with keeping my fat off my glutes.
Run walk for me
Grappling will def help keep you lean. I also like running stadiums. I'd rather have my nails pulled out one by one than walk on a treadmill.
