The neighbor down the street had one in his garage that he didn't want anymore...just basically brand new...got it for $50. Tried it and love it...just couldn't hang for that long at first...probably 5 minutes. Does anyone else use one and what would be a good target time to hang?

Im so jealous! I had one till some movers dropped it down the stairs. Imo best time is right before bed. Gravity has been compressing you all day. Right before bed stretches it all back out and makes the repairing on the spine easier.

subbed.....want to know if consistent inversion will help in the long run, I's got me some serious lower back pumps and am curious if this will help.

I have one and love it. I often forget about the damn thing lol.
Just a few minutes is plenty IMHO.
If u guys have big 5 sporting goods chains by u they often run sales on them for $100-$150 if u wanna get one.
It really loosens my lower back where I get tight. I've tried hanging like when doing a pull up but the inversion table works much much better.

I've been dealing with that very same thing for about a month now......I wake up and roll out of bed and within an few hours my back is tight.....sucks

Your best to use it in short intervals repeated for roughly 15 minutes. Allowing your joints and muscle a second to reset in between pulls. It will help to ensure your body doesn't fight back in response to the stretch. I prefer 1 minute durations of stretch, and equal rest for the 15 minutes.

Thanks Pitt...so one minute inverted to 15 minutes of non-inverted...1 min stretch/15 min rest?

Lol
I assumed he meant 1 min stretch 1 minute rest compiled for 15 minutes ??

Another note don't go apeshit with it at 1st....my wife and I used it too much and got migraines. Use it eod or a few days a week at 1st

Yeah, what IG said. 1 min stretch, 1 min rest repeated for the 15 minute duration.

Best $50 I have spent in a while!!! This has been a God send for my lower back and hips, even the wife and my little girl are loving it.
