I saw REM on the green tour , U2 on Joshua tree , and old enough to have seen Robert Plant doing a couple Led Zeppelin songs.. I think I am old enough. The one I always regret missing is the Talking Heads played a local opera house on the stop making sense tour ..I also regret seeing not seeing Stevie Ray Vaughn, I got 3 invites to see him and though I could always see him later...

I'm all about 80's hair bands. Motley Crue is the top! AC/DC, Metallica, Black Sabbath, hell, you can even throw in some Poison. Many great tunes came out of that decade

you want to talk about seeing someone in small place before making it big

My brother ( 12 years older ) had Aerosmith playing at his prom...
and a friend saw U2 at the 200 seat venue. on the "boy" tour..

You wanna get into 60' and 70's rock? Oh man, I love that shit too!!! I grew up listening to most of the 60's and 70's rock music. My parents listened to it ALL the time and I grew up loving it! My mainstay is 60'-80's rock and "heavy metal". I could probably tell you every Dr.Hook song out there! Lol

My fave of all from them.

Before becoming an iron addict, I used to enjoy listening to music and remixing it from album to cassettes.
Listening to this song through my JVC headphones, that lasted me 15 years, I could literally hear every instruments in this song and the beautiful seperation.

I have to include this guy because he did his own music, had his own background singers (which included his wife) known as Love Unlimited, and his own band.
