Sorry gang I hate crossfit. He nails most of my dislikes with it. Improper form seizures is what it mostly looks like.
It increases athleticism if u are an athlete that's great....most of them hardly are that! This is about the only place it see its use....for an athlete.

I just don't get most of the moves and thoughts behind it and they abuse and trash their bodies at the elite levels.

Then let's be vain....don't most of us go to the gym to look good? Again except at the elite level all the average ppl I know who do it often....look like they have never once been in a gym in their life.
If it's all about chasing #'s then go be a powerlifter....

In closing I do agree that any type of training has some good things to offer. I suppose u just need to be intelligent enough to cherry pick the good things it does offer and implement them into ones program if nothing else for diversity and to enhance other lifts we already do.

I am actually impressed with the CF folks at the gym .When it comes to climbing - hiking -biking `swimming etc - is very useful . BTW- I can knockout 75 pushups even at my age !! ( no hair net ) lol-Thanks-OD
