A sad day for me as one of the men I truley field understood me when I was younger has passed. Scott was a great artist and volcalist. I just always felt his pain. Rest in peace Scott the battle is over now.

Damn..... sad... thought he always had a unique voice and STP always put out some good tunes during the grunge era. Just couldn't kick the habit and his personal demons got the best of him. Along with Kurt Cobain... R I P my brother...

12 bar blues is one of my all time favorite albums. It's so honest.

I do t believe there was a better vocalist in the 90s then Scott. He had ranges Thant not many had.

Wasn't he still with Avril Levign...I think that is how you pronounced her name, she is the one in the Sour Girl video. It is such a shame when drugs just take hold of a person and addiction pits the chains on them, he had been battling it for a long time.

I know.....he's free now. I hate for anyone to die from this disease, but some of us must die so other don't have to. Sounds harsh, but it's true. Maybe someone will learn from his mistakes.

Well there has been so many that have died from the disease, yeah we would hope that it would somehow help others but it is just that...a disease. Heroine is no joke, sounds like his body just gave out, but at least he died in his sleep...God had mercy, love, and grace for him. He can now rest in peace.

I remember he just got out of rehab again, and STP was on tour..and playing a local small venue

and I missed them

and interview with Scott said he was practicing his voice ,since that was his instrument
so he was sounding great , they had a couple of opening acts
3 doors down
and there was a little known band opening for them Creed..which broke huge about 3 months later

I still kick myself for missing that show

sad to see him go
