Seen it already, don't want to see it again...that guy is in a world of hurt for quite a while now. Leave ego at the door and be smart training. I always instruct my clients to never lock out their knees doing leg presses, hack squats, or regular squats...that won't happen on my watch.

I also think that until their legs are as thick as Ron Coleman you would not be letting them push that much weight. the guy has the bottom and top racks full...
got to be close to 1500 lbs there...

the shock value is there .. this video is worse than the flex magazine with JP fux and his collapse on the squat rack....
his legs were never the same ... was think that JP was lucky did it in golds , after all there was a better chance of a surgeon seeing that type of injury there before and having experience .
had trouble doing squats for years after that especially with out a cage..

I don't think this kids legs will be same either ... maybe never right ...
