Luke Sandoe, a professional bodybuilder, died this week at the age of 30. Sandoe, who was from the United Kingdom, was found dead in his home by his training partner and friend James Hollingshead and his girlfriend, according to a report by Ron Harris, the online editor for Muscular Development magazine.

His cause of death has not been released, nor has his exact date of death. Harris asked that fans refrain from speculating “about health conditions or anything like that. Right now there is no evidence that it was related to the bodybuilding lifestyle or gear or anything like that. There’s no indication that any of that played a role in this at all.” Harris said an update would be provided as soon as it’s available.

Update: May 8: Sandoe’s cause of death has still not been officially confirmed. Sandoe’s friend Ben Chow posted on social media the bodybuilder’s apparent cause of death, saying that he ended his own life.

Unfortunately he ended it his own way, his decision. Mental health is serious issue, he had demons he battled daily, also this isolation we are ordered to hurts those more with mental health problems. It sucks...

Well that is obviously true, Just such a shocker. the last thing I saw him on, he seemed so happy go luckily , it caught me by surprise.
he was doing commentary on the Arnold classic. it is sad to see him go, and in such a wasteful waste way

Yeah, I keep watching videos and tributes of him and everyone says the same thing, they didn't suspect anything like this he was going through. Demons are real, I do battle some from my life, to this day I wake up with them and go to sleep to escape from them...yes I have a beautiful family, wife and daughters, grandchildren on the way, live in a beautiful area on the coast, have a good job, all things to be grateful for which I have to remind myself daily, but the darkness is still there in my mind and I need God in my life to battle them. Depression, anxiety, self worth and esteem still all play a role. If I didn't have our home gym to train I would be in a deeper abyss.

So it appears that he died of a heart attack, according to his family.
regardless this is sad that he so young when died.. not that it is easy when anyone dies, except maybe when it is end to suffering
