    Mom is gloating here

    Ok guys since I am the only Mom here and my daughter is my life, I have to share . Yesterday was her first meet for the competitive gymnastics season. It is always pretty stressful in my house before meets or softball games. Well yesterday couldn't have been any better. Mini me came home with 5 first place medals.

    4 events

    1st place in - beam, bars, floor, and vault

    1st place overall with a score of 36.7 out of 40!!!

    The team also came in 2nd, as a whole, and received a banner to hang in their gym.

    We have been blessed to have found such a great gym and group of girls and parents to spend these times with. I am going to try to post videos in here and I laugh at the end of every one you hear Fuzo's loud mouth, lol.

    I know father's are just as proud but from my point of view, as a Mom, it is just different.

    Her heart is in both sports that she does, softball and gymnastics but when she competes in gymnastics I think she feels she owns that more. Fuzo helps her nonstop with softball but when it comes to gymnastics its all her

      Thats awesome! Congratulations! Hard work certainly pays dividends and in this case it paid in fives.

      She is lucky to have two great role models with competitive spirits. Perhaps that is where she gets her drive from... Keep up your hard work with her and that will pay an uncountable amount of dividends. :-)

            Damn! How old is she? I'm thinking Olympics soon. Not trying to butter up. I'm no professional, but everything great and very fluid.

            I agree with BB! She has the genetics and push.

                She is 12 but she knows how hard it is to get to that. It is still her dream.. She is hoping for a softball scholarship though. It is amazing how gymnastics has really helped her in her ball playing

                      I am amazed that she does both softball and gym !! BTW- when we used to watch vids of our kids- and now grandkids - you can hear me yelling in every single one . Dads get excited -what can we say ? lol-Congrats -OD ( Pops )

                        It's def a heavy load and lots of training but we will go with it as long as she wants. Lol @ yelling Dads. It only seems to be Fuzo though, lol. I guess we cant hear the rest. You are right though, when my Mom and Dad are there its loud to especially my Dad at the ballgames and he is so old school nthatI have to tell him to be quiet or he will get kicked out,lmao
