  • Branch and form

I keep getting this video on my youtube start page...

and I am looking on this , and wondering about the form here
he is using huge weights ,bounce of his chest, and not complete reps. etc..
to be honest looks more likely to break a collar bone ..

what is the point , other than to trash your joints and bones..

that all being said, Branch is a monster and must know something I don't

    Re: Branch and form

You know it's funny because u always hear strict perfect form is a must! Yet u see pros often don't use full ROM and often use heavy weight over perfect form.....yet their results speak for themselves!
I feel there's a time and place for everything. On one hand moving lots of weight while yes brings other muscles into action but still overloads the muscle being trained. Pros often seem to short stroke moves vs do full ROM. I see some advantages to that. For instance Ronnie has crazy long arms. If u watch him bench he doesn't lock out at the top nor does he come all the way down. He stays in the sweet spot to train his chest when he benches. Locking out would take the tension off and put it in his elbows and triceps so I get that.

I agree with you X dude branch gets very sloppy esp on the back T bar row machine. I mean wtf how much back is he really hitting there!?!? Seems like a great way to totally fuck yourself up at any turn tearing something or wearing joints out.

I mean sure branch is a huge bastard and was known to always come in shredded but what has he won? Especially recently he hasn't won shit. However I feel it's his midget status that fucks him. Bonac is probably the most jacked midget yet but stand him next to Phil or Kai the big guys always looks better.
Blah blah blah Latina's ass...blah blah blah!
