So, a good friend and former lifting partner turned me on to MC. I'm 46 years old and still lift daily. I used to be much bigger and more cut in my younger days, but 12 hour shifts at my job, a family and just plain getting old has put my bodybuilding on the back burner for far too long. But the last 6 months have seen a massive re-dedication on my part and my weights are skyrocketing to levels I haven't touched in 10 years. I'm focused and ready to keep the fire burning. Muscle truly does have memory and it hasn't forgotten all of the hard work I put in all those years ago.

I am 46 so you are calling me old? I am getting ready for my competitions this year including Master's Nationals, so welcome my brother and there are many SEASONED VETS here to help you! God bless!Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3)

Re: This Old Man Is Coming Back!
Thank you all for the warm welcoming. You all are right. Using the term "old" is self-defeating. Me taking so many years off is what created that feeling of out-of-shape oldness. Every time I go through my five day split and take a day off I come back stronger and less "old" feeling. Thanks for the pep talks, guys.
