  • 900+ cal Breakfast Alternative (Rice over Oatmeal)

Recently I have been looking for an alternative to oatmeal for breakfast.

    Here's a recipe I altered to fit a BBing/Training lifestyle.
We all have assloads of brown rice laying around right? I myself cook up 12 cups every 4-5 days. I always liked rice pudding as a kid, so I did a lil research and boom!!... Easy and packs in the cals we need.

1 cup cooked brown rice (leftovers)
    2 Tbs Natty Peanut Butter
    1/2 cup 2% milk
1 cup blueberries (sub any fruit)

***Some people might want to add Protein Powder to recipe, but I like to drink mine on the side (2 scoops+water)

Take leftover pre-cooked whole grain brown rice and add 1/4 cup milk and stir. Add 2 Tbs Natty PB and throw in microwave for 1:30. Add 1 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup milk and stir.

Serve with protein powder drink on side and you have a 750cal+ breakfast alternative to boring oatmeal.

Macros (as I prepare w/2 scoops whey pp drink on side)
    Total cals: 929 cals
    Carbs: 98g
    Fat: 27g
    Protein: 76g

Me neither.. I use peanut satay sauce or carrinean jerk seasoning in most of my rice dishes. Finally got used to the texture...

Softer rice might do the trick.... but the ex got custody of the high pressure rice cooker so I am free styling for now.

Let me know. Tmrw am I'm gonna try PBJ rice. (Adding Strawberry preserves) Higher in sugar but gonna give it a shot.

Post back if you try it.
