For those who don't or haven't trained/competed in Oly lifting words can't even begin to explain the feeling you get from it. It's magical. There's no other feeling like it when it comes to strength sports in my opinion.
I stepped off the Olympic Weightlifting platform 2 years ago after several years of competing but I know I'll step back on that platform someday. Once you've been bitten by that bug you may put it down for a time but you'll never be rid of it.
