I think my hard drive crashed. WTF do I do now?

If the hard drive is crashed some of it might be recoverable. Depends on how degraded and damaged the file structure is.Comment

Ok that drive has win 7 64 on it. Wont boot. and my other drive wont even recognize it.

It does make sense. So you are running dual bootable opperating systems on separate hd? Best bet may be takin it to a place depending on how tech savy you are. If there was no important data just grab an new hd and reinstall windows.Originally posted by zedhed View Post

It does sound crashed though it's exactly what my work comp did about 3 months ago except it wasnt a dual hdComment

Yeah its 2 physical drives in the same PC, both bootable.
Did try running in safe mode, would not do it. crap.....

Not screwed on the data in the old harddrive yet. If you take it to a good computer tech he could possibly retrieve some. I've seen people get data off of smashed computers out of the trash. It all depends on the level of damage within the hard drive and what is wrong with the drive itself.Originally posted by zedhed View Post
