Planet Fitness there commercials are always making fun of 'muscleheads; it's a fitness center that DOES NOT like true BB, no chalk ,no deadlifting, they even have an alarm that goes off if you make to much noise while training.

I believe it's designed of more of a 'pick up club' then a true gym, or even a descent fitness center, I train at my local Y anymore, and there are plenty of serious guys/ladies there. A few" goofs" but every gym will have those.

I just dont get PF. Only a desk jockey would want to go to a gym like that. I just dont get it. Does any one know of a way to pick up women at the gym? I couldnt even try to pick up a woman there, my wife would find out and kick my ass. She is an only girl with 3 brothers and we all give her her respect, she has erned it! A few times I have had women come up and hit on me (I bet they didnt have their glasses on, lol). I think a list of how to do it would be interesting.

You guys have to look @ it from a marketing perspective. WE wouldn't go there. EVER. WE are 5% of the population, if that. The other 95% of lazy society is prefect for that place. The commercial where he guy says "Drain these suckers bank accounts!" is pretty tounge in cheek, they're doing that....catering to the bigger piece of the pie.....which they also serve there I think....

I agree...we are the minority I have manged a couple gyms/fitness centers, I welcomed the hard core guys/lady's as long as everyone obeyed the rules..and most of them did..I had more problems with the old grumpy people bitching about the whirlpool or sauna.

Well PF escorted my fat ass right out the door. They have shit for weights. I had every 45 in the place. Was doing deads. Drop sets. After. Getting up to 455. Got a little off balance. I dropped it. Oops every fucking body in there stopped and looked. 5 min later. Out the door. Not to nice.

Yeah, I almost punched the dude. Was starting to freak. Then in the mirror I saw the cops walking up behind me. So I tried to play it cool. Two of the older ladies that goto my gym too. They saw the whole thing. It's the running joke at my gym. So my boy and I got chains to make more noise. But I just am loud when it gets heavy. But it's fun. And every couple of weeks I hear all the guys wanting to go in there and get thrown out. But, PF gives out free pizza on Fridays. Oh and free cokes. Fuck planet fitness.

Well said Nelson..Fuck them! Btw the cops have to be getting sick of this pf shit..they came to escort a correction officer out for grunting, I'm sure they have better things to do then escort 'grunters' out of pf.
