Thanks brothers. All we can do is hold onto faith and hope at this point and hope the biopsy results come back benign.

        Just an update family

We went in for the biopsy and the doc prepped the area. The area was slightly above the carotid gland. I have seen much blood and horrible injuries on my deployments and have always been fine. However when they begin using the third needle to get cells my angel screamed in pain and I literally fell to my knees with a sickness that I have never before experienced. I had her hand until they were finished all the while sweating and doing everything I could not to pass out or throw up. When she was finished the assistant along with another helped me to a bed where I had to lay down to get my composure back. I felt like I was going to die.

I felt so bad because here I am big bad 230lbs drill sergeant that suppose to be there for her and I can't even hold my cookies together.

When it came to the love of my life and seeing her scream in pain it took the breath and energy right out of me. After I got my self together I realized how much I really loved this woman for that type of affect to happen.

Funny thing is was she was champ and after they finished came in and held my hand. She kept laughing all the while I'm dying inside. Lol.

We will have the results in two weeks but the doc under the microscope said he didn't see any purple color cells which are usually a key indicator of cancer. So we give God praise for the results, your prayers or the loving positive vibes you sent. Thank you, thank you thank you!!!

Re: Pray for my wife please!!!

I know how challenging this can be. Stay positive..stay strong and keep moving forward. Your love and support is a powerful tool.

One question...does your wife use Vitamin D supplements? A lady I know uses high doses of Vit D. 10,000ius daily. She is a breast cancer survivor for over 10 yrs. She has had other cancers pop up and championed through all the treatments. When she started taking Vit D she noticed a change. No need to toot how important vit D is. This may be worth looking into.

I don't know you or your wife but will keep you both in my thoughts for the best outcome.

Re: Pray for my wife please!!!

Well I have been MIA here for a while and am laying with my wife reading this to her and we both are in tears...what an ordeal for any strong man to have to endure, when it comes to the angels in our lives going through such a scary ordeal, it really gets me how prevalent cancer is in this day and age and has to be related to our environment and the food we consume. Pesticides, chemicals, things that they claim don't cause any harm to our health but then you hear too many stories of this going on to people close to us. My wife just made a joke saying I have nothing to worry about because she has no boobies, but we know that is not true and when you said you and your wife being married for 10 years hit home with us because we are the same in years of marriage. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and other bros I know who are going through the same horrific ordeals on these forums as I would have been and responded the same as you Chris...your love is strong for your wife and you're a great man for what you had to go through...drill sergeant or not bro, we all have our soft hearts for the loves of our lives. We hope for the best outcome possible bro...sending love and prayers!

Thanks brother and yes she does take vitamin d, c, b and a. I'm very thorough with my wife's health. Sometime I annoy the heck out of her but love is everything it has to be sometimes. Thanks for your support and we will come out on top!!!!

Thanks brother, your words touch my heart. We can never allow ourselves to be affected by this cruel world and allow us to stop loving, caring, being there for one another and helping those around us get through the thick mud. Thank you!

Family I sill say this I'm sure many times over, but you will never know how much your loving support means to us. I continually show my wife this thread as we both cry every time know we are loved by complete strangers that come to us in a time off need like family.

My heart and house are open to all of you if you ever need me. I will always be there.

I'm sorry to hear about this brother. I've lost a best friend and an uncle to cancer. My heart goes out to your wife, you and both sides of your family's. there's nothing simple about this situation. Though we've never met outside this board, know that I do consider you a friend and am here for you and your wife in any way that I need to be. I know that in this situation medical expenses can get overwhelming, even with insurance. I don't know how the military insurance works but if you guys ever need anything don't hesitate to ask. I will do all I can to help and set up a fundraiser on here and do a local bikers rally in my area and make sure 100% of all proceeds got directly to you. I've done this before for people in my community here at home and have had great success with it. You're a strong guy and I commend you for being able to hold your head up while going through this more than once. I've seen people give up and loose hope. It's a sad sight and your wife needs someone strong like you to keep her strong. Like I said before brother, don't hesitate to ask me for anything.

Support your local 81, because we support our community.
