The problem is that guys think that the greed that causes problems in medicine is not affecting supplement companies. Supp comps get filthy rich off selling bunk products and they don't have to prove anything about the claims made on their labels, or even that their product actually contains what it says it contains.
My biggest beef is people making claims about certain products or sham procedures like coffee enemas when, not only is there zero science supporting their claims, but there is actual mountains of scientific evidence against it. When these type of people are faced with science contradicting their pre conceived notions, they attack the studies as being fraud, or they attack science in general. But, when they find a study agreeing with their stance, they're quick to post it up.
Science will always have fraud, and will constantly be proving certain ideas wrong, but if you look at the world around you, it's obvious that the truth is prevailing. From flying to the moon, to diagnosing and treating diseases, to genetics. we understand the world so much better because of science. Fat, lazy, smoking americans are living longer because of western medicine. These people should be dying at such an earlier age.
