Date nights...don't neglect them guys!!!

So husbands here on MC...how many of you take your wives out for date nights? VERY important for your marriage IMO, have to remember to live, laugh, and love the one you fell in love with in the first place right...well the wife and I are going out as we speak to see a show in the city, a close friend of ours brother plays in a band called The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit, fun band to go and see and the wife and I get to dance and have a great time sober! Yes sober, as we don't drink...yes you can have fun with the one you love and actually have a memory of it lol!!! Kind of a forgotten concept but I love it!

you got that right MA. Whenever I'm with my wife I am sober. she usually has the weekends off so those are the times I don't drink. I respect my wife and I value the time we share together. its great to get out of the house with her and away from the kids for a while. whether were at a drive-in or a dine-in its always great to get out with her.

My wife and I started doing date nights recently and it has made a huge difference. Now her brother is all f'ed up from motorcycle wreck we won't be for a while.

Agreed 100%.....my wife and I make sure to spend quality time out of the house anytime we can....and away from the kids

Date nights are my favorite. We have a few spots to eat at that we love. Sushi, ramen houses, Italian, Greek. Love wining and dining. Were sober 365 days a year. We love to drink but 1 beer or cocktail is all. No point in going overboard, those days are long gone for me. Plus I'm a brewer so we always have 3 beers on tap plus 1 on nitro. Mmmmmm

But ya, gotta always remember to romance the one you love, cherish what you have and nurture it like your life depends on it.

I am willing to be a taste tester if you have a nice brown ale...that is one of my only exceptions, I do like a nice brown ale on tap .

My wife and I try and get out every week for a date even if it is just running out to suit down for dinner quick. During the warm months we ride every Wednesday with our MC we belong to. Nothing better than getting out on the motorcycle and riding with a bunch of great friends.

Some times our date night is dinner and getting groceries lol but some times it's dinner and pull over at random places to pretend we are teens again

That's GREAT MA. I think some feel their marriage becomes a chore and that's when things fall apart. You need to communicate and have FUN..... yes fun with your partner. Their is soooo much more to a relationship than sex especially if you want it to last.

Good post, relationships take work...I learned to never take anyone for granted, their in your life because they want to be, not because they have to. Show them you appreciate them, and always be honest, and respect the 'rules' of your relationship.
