Took my dad to see it on Sunday... Everybody in the theatre was HUGE! Flick was packed with good stuff. Nice to see the human side of bodybuilding rather than just the "hardcore meathead" image alot of people have. I'm familiar with alot of the backstories, but to someone who's not familiar with bodybuilding I could see how it could provide alot of insight. They touch on all aspects of the bodybuilding lifestyle and display it in a positive light. Background on competitors, training regimens, eating habits, mentality, and even PED's are addressed.
I'd seen the reviews going in (which were great), so my standards were kinda high going in. SO GO CHECK IT OUT! Jackass moment of the film; check out Branch talking about never getting hurt (except outside the gym), then gallop off on his horse. I'll be damned if that horse didn't buck him 12 feet into the air and lay him out!
