But those poor people didn't have health care before that's the thing. I mentioned the story about the woman that can now go get a mammogram after years of no coverage. And my buddy I think cheats the system cause every time we go eat or anything he's like O let me just put it on my card its a tax right off just shoot me cash :/ plus I think he doesn't file every year his business is very up and down like he won't make money for some months and then one month bring in like 30,000 or something which is why I think they rely heavily on credit. It's a strange way to live I couldn't do it myself seems like it causes him a lot of stress that's y I'm so happy to just Go to my union job and b able to actually enjoy my life family and whatever money I have. As well as good benefits vacation pay a good pension and union days off. To me it's living the American dream and I can't complain

If I could make good money working for someone else I would be tickled too. Not having health care doesn't stop getting a mammogram. My wife's cousin got one last year with no insurance she didn't have to pay because she is poor.

That doesn't make sense to me. My cousin is poor no health care no job he got hurt I took him to county hospital he got charged 800 bucks for an X-ray and a norco he couldn't pay it went to collections it hurt his credit and he still had to pay when he got a job

Buddies wife has cancer no health care they will not treat her until treatment is paid for

That's because you live in Cali LOL. My dad had no job and no ins had a tumor removed from his bladder and kemo for free. My grandad died from prostate cancer after a 10yr battle he didn't pay a dime no ins and no job.

Yesterday was my wife's last day as an RN she worked at a hospital that treated people with no insurance.

So then who pays the drs for those treatments that makes absolutely no sense. Drs are saying obamacare will hurt them your saying right now they work for free

Tax payers of course. Now we still pay for it. So what good did this bill do? Nothing good at all. If they can't afford the premium who's gonna pay that? They can't afford there deductible either so who pays for that? Hmmm to me this sounds like I way to push money into the insurance companies. I wonder who got a big bag of money from big insurance when this bill was passed? My guess is B.O. Just like unions put money in his pocket.

Well in California that's not the way it works... Nothing in life is free... How much did tax payers pay for the free treatment your family received?

If that were the case taxes would need to b raised to pay for all those "free" treatments but we don't want to do that so no wonder the debt goes up

So we want lower taxes but free health care that taxes pay? Am I getting it right? Cause now in feeling a little confused. I think we are saying we don't need health care because u have to pay for it when it's free because tax dollars cover it. Oh and we should still et a nice tax return?

I'm not saying your wrong I'm trying to understand it. Before Obamacare if u couldn't afford health care that's ok because tax dollars paid it? That's great but then it would b understandable to raise taxes as thy are covering treatment for people. Now nobody likes o raise taxes so where is the money for treatments supposed to b gotten? Where those people getting free treatment and a fat tax return because that would seem a little unfair.
