My wife tried but it was $300 a month less but less coverage and a $7000 deductible and no doctors in our area take it. Yea good stuff. With our current coverage we have zero deductible.

luckily my company's plan is better than the bullshit offered by O care. but I fear it won't be long before it gets axed so they can drop that liability and push us on to O care like Walgreens did to its employees.

it helps so much, people pay 4 times what they were, getting a product people don't want shoved down their throats, being told what doctors we can and can't see, being told you can't continue to see the doc you were seeing for the last 30 years, getting substandard care, etc. in fact it is so great the got dropped their current med plans to exclusively partake of ocare. sarcasm there. best part is our country most likely won't be around to much longer, maybe gone by 2016.

Vicious, I can see that you havent had much dealings with the federal government. If you had you would know that there is a lot of promises and nothing else. If you dont believe me just ask any active duty military person, any branch. They can tell you about the government run health care programs. I can hear you trying to put a spin on it so Im wrong, good luck with that.

The VA is at best average. To get your disability rating you have to fill out shit loads of paperwork, then you get denied, then you have to appeal, and then if your lucky 10 years later you get your rating, but then they keep it for 3 years so you can pay back your medical severance pay you got 20 years ago for having the audacity to get injured on the military 's time to begin with serving at their leisure and pleasure to be a well trained killing machine like none this earth has ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I am a Marine and will die for this country and every single American and those who want to be a real American. But I am one of those I describe above. I have 2.5 more years to go for a measly 128 bucks a month. At least they are covering my hearing loss which isn't why I was given the medical in the first place. I trashed my ankle so bad I can't walk without boots or I will twist it, he'll it happens in boots. I have friends a 1000times worse than me and have gotten denied because they didn't provide enough evidence they were disabled, even though their dd214 says so what a crock of shit. people missing limbs and have to fight for coverage. then assholes like my wife's ex who say they have ptsd and get almost 100% disability for being lovers. no he does not have it, he is just an abusive parent and ex spouse who is a lower, but I digress.

But I didn't join the Marines for glory. I joined to be a Marine and to die if necessary for this nation and her people. I will follow all orders all the down from the president. I. would die for the office of the President, but make no mistake, I will not die for the big O. I have zero respect for him and what he has done to this nation however; it is the office of the President that I respect and what it stands for. It is that idea I will die for.

I recently checked out "ObamaCare" on the government website. Thanking my lucky stars I have health insurance thru my employer. How Obama considers a $2,500 deductible as 'affordable' is beyond me.

U misread my statement. I clearly stated I didn't join for benefits etc. I joined because I wanted too. that doesn't mean got free to mess with me if after serving. unemployment ins is a lazy man's way to not work. listen to videos of those who voted for Bahama simply because he gives them money.

make no mistake, our country is going to implode and those who are "entitled" will be crying for help from those of us who are not.
