  • When to work out?

Started feeling extremely depressed about not getting to gym. I wake up around 4:45am at work by 5:45 get done with my day around 6-7 go home play with kids then play with wife then sleep between 9-12 depending on how hard my day was. Im thinking if nothing else sat and sun morning? What you guys think?

It's hard sometimes ESP with a family. My wife wanted me to finally fuck her in half Friday night and asked me not to go to the gym. I took 30mg cialis and made her cum 4 times so the loss of gym was worth it lol.

I prefer to go Sunday or Monday as those are days off for me. Then 2 more days during the week. I get off work at 7pm and go right from work. Usually home right before 9pm. I miss my toddler those nights. What can ya do? I'm not a morning person and ill never wake up early enough to go at like 5am lol.

No way could I go to gym instead of spending and hour or so with my kid.

It's only 2 nights a week. I spend the entire day with her on Monday. I have no choice. By the time I get off work I usually only see her 30 min up to 1 hr on non training days before she goes to bed anyways.

That's the way it is for me that's why I was thinking early on my days off before kids are up.

I go whenever I can, mostly at 6am when I get off work.

Just looking at your schedule Layd, I would think right after work would also work well for you. That's when I would go if I had your schedule

U can make gains and progress in 3 days a week. That's what works best for me to really grow. 3 days I hit entire body.
                1 hr -1 hr 15 min sessions

                Back/shoulders

                Legs/triceps

                Chest/biceps

I train abs as often as I can fit in time wise. I aim for 2 times a week.

I purposely split chest and shoulders far apart like that. If I do either one days out from the other I'm too sore with chest or shoulders.

I also hate triceps and chest same day. I find I'm too fatigued to get full power from an contraction from the pre exhaustion.

Anyways I've found this an easy program to still have a family and a life....yet still grow and make progress.

Could I benefit from a 5 day program ? Physically probably yes.....time wise no way! I just don't have the time. It's not my job it's a hobby.....

If I go after work I will miss my kids that day. I forgot to mention it takes 1.5-2 hrs to get home with traffic.

My schedule is all crazy at the moment (training on my new position) But I always try to go after work (between 7am and 9am). I will lift 3 days and in between the lifting days do cardio

A change is a good thing every once in awhile, it keeps your body growing. Sometimes I have to go very early (4 AM) or very late (midnight). Make sure you get plenty of rest, I always wind up missing some sleep, thats not a good thing.
