My parents never turned their back on me no matter what I did they also never talked shit about me... Yea I did some stupid shot landed myself in jail. They kept fighting for me. Giving me tough love. Today I have a great job great wife w a great job own 3 cars a boat jet skis dirt bikes nice home w a pool. My parents couldn't b any prouder today and guess who I owe it all to. my great fucking parents

Use before you start telling me how to run my family you have no fucking clue about what I have gone thru what I have done for these kids, the physical abuse I have suffered at the hands of the 15 year old etc. I have been a parent for over 30 years. so I it would stay the fuck out of my business. it happens to post here to talk to friends and I vents. I have spent more time money lost days at work etc be a parent to my girls than just about anyone else in the world. If you have something constructive to add great if not stay the fuck off my thread.

And just because you are 12 or 15 does not mean you shouldn't go to jail. You broke the law you pay your dues. Other countries cut your hand off. This is the problem being parent isn't about keeping kids away from punishment it is about teaching and guiding and living the right way so they learn, but it is also about doing to been hard things and sometimes that means things like jail, but better they learn the lessons now than when they are 18.

Jail is not I being a parent it's u letting the state b a parent don't post threads here if u don't want someone to disagree w u. A 15 year old or 12 shouldn't b out of four sight somewhere stealing. A good parent knows where they are

Vicious, I can see you have a lot of feeling about this subject and as I said in my earlier post...I too blame the way many children are today on the parents. I am not saying all parents but I see what many of them do, or dont do, and I see how the children act. It is sad for sure but I agree that as parents, we lead by example and hope that when we send our kids off, they make good choices. Many parents discipline differently and some dont discipline at all. Back in the day, if we did something wrong it would have been easier to go to jail then to come home to my house,lol.

My grandmother used to make us get the switch from the tree she was gonna beat us with.

you know those paddle ball things.. the elastic string attached to a paddle and a ball... we used to get one for every Christmas and once the string broke it was used to paddle the behind.. I was the youngest and was warned ....and for some reason never played with mine... although the string would give out from age any way ...the trick was to leave it in the bag.

I am not sure that it worked on me ... I do remember my father threatening me with a 2X4 ..like he would ever hit me with that! Also I am Irish and have a sibling that was hit with a cabbage in a fit of rage. if that doesn't say you are Irish.. I don't know what does
