The good my 4yo did a 4hr iq test pretty much didn't want to do it and still has an iq of 142. The bad/good I'm about to drive 8hrs to take my 16yo back to live with her mom.

Yes she can read and write she started a school for gifted last year.

For her 3rd bday we got her a big ass telescope because she is fascinated with space. Before she was 3 she could name all the planets and most of their moons.

Some times she will say some thing random and my wife will ask if she is sure. Then she will google it and of course she is right. Like one day wife took her to sprinkler park they had this whale shaped sprinkler thing. My wife oh look it's a blue whale. My daughter laughed and said no its not look at the dorsal fin it's a killer whale the blue whale dorsal fin is shaped different and closer to its tale.

I just told wife when will you learn she is right we are wrong?

Oh and speaking of space her room is pink but she decorated her room with posters of planets. And is very upset that she doesn't get to go on The mars one trip. We told her that's one way she would never see us again. She said yes I would miss y'all but I won't be back.

I will have to look I'm on my way to work. I want to say performance is the one she got a low score on because she was refusing to do the test she got a 107 on that and all the other where around 140. She kept doing stuff like telling them you already know the answer why are you asking me.

Along the her being smart comes a lot of quirkyness, some OCD, etc. if you have ever watched big bang theory she does have some of Sheldon's quirks. Her little sister is more advanced than she was but she is ADD and she is strong as shit with a short temper. She will be doing something and if she doesn't get it the first time she throws it across the room.

She is in a gifted school. She started last year it goes thru 12th. Its not very close it's 2hr round trip from our house.
