You should put him in his place IMHO. Show him a simple gun safe is very reasonable. While yes someone can run off with the small ones at least your kids can't get Into it without the code!
Hopefully he at least has the bullets not near the gun?

U can get a nice safe for user $1k and it's great to keep valuables in. Beyond worth the money! My wife can easily get a loaded gun in seconds if I'm not home.....yet there's no way the kids can get to it!

that said I don't own my guns for killing people. They are just target fun to me. It's just there at home for that 1 day u hope never happens!

They are loaded because what good is an unloaded gun. (His words) he's got about 10 pistols 6 shotguns 2 AR's and some other rifles. I actually sent him this link on face book and last night his wife came over and said he liked it. Her words "now that Logan walks we should probably get a safe but they are just so expensive" we disagree on lots of things... He drinks beer I smoke weed he says I have a problem lol. He's my wife's friend cause she went to school with him and his wife 😡

You don't need all those guns loaded! 1 loaded gun is plenty IMHO.

Ok so he has a few guns but I just bought a safe for my gear and a pocket pistol I carry at times. I have another safe but wanted a smaller one for my gear

It's a nice little safe off amazon for $65! He should get at least a small safe for 1 loaded gun.

My safe was under $500 at bass pro shops. Took my buddy and our 2 wives to get it up the stairs.....with the door off! It's hardly a $2000 browning safe.....but it's not a piece of shit either!

I'll be the 1st to admit I can be cheap at times but as I've gotten older I try to look at things differently. I said to myself.....if something horrible happened all I would think about was how cheap that $500 safe was and how I wish I had bought it.....

It's like buying a cheap baby seat or a top safety rated one. If god forbid I was in a wreck and my baby was in the hospital I'd never forgive myself for not getting the safer seat.

I realize we all live within our own budgets but if he has 10 guns and 2 ars he has money to play with and is being irresponsible IMHO.
