I think I posted this ...I was over a friends house , and a local tv station (MTV clone) was giving away tickets to Robert Plant after his second solo album . 4 years after the break up of Led Zep. he called in and said ...OMG it is ringing . I ran to the album rack , grab a led zep album so he could answer the trivia question. got the tickets and went .
Robert plant had been with Led Zep for 10 years and when I saw him was still only 33 IIRC. He did some of the honey drippers stuff too.

I have never really been a Zeppelin fan, but there are some good tunes. That had to be a blast for you though

Seen Plant & Page...would have died to see Zeppelin, one of my all time favorite concerts was Pink Floyd Pulse tour in 1995, talk about a show!!! Iron Maiden was always fun too.

PF "learning to fly" also saw 87 Roger waters "Kaos" 86 and 87
tough call as to who did it better, I lean toward RW cause you could see him in a smaller venue ..

a strange but really interesting thing about Roger Waters... if the ticket say 8:00 ..at 8:00 the lights dimm.
                he is incredible prompt !!!!

Also saw Roger waters do "the Wall" concert ... that was pretty good .

MA, I saw Zeppelin once. It was the tour before Bonham passed. I had box seats right next to the satge. Unforgettable! I also had tickets to their last tour but the money was refunded after Bonham passed. I also saw Pink Floyd Animals tour. Another unforgettable concert! It was in Soldier Field, outdoor. The music was so clear and crisp. They had speakers up on top of the stadium in all 4 corners. It sounded like you had head phones on! If you like Zeppelin like I do,there is an all girl band called Zepparella. They are out of San Francisco and always play at a place called Slims. They are FANTASTIC! They have a lead guitarist,Gretchen Mann, she is unbelievable. I saw them last month when they came through Chicago. Look them up on YouTube. Worth checking out.

looking for led zepplin covers ...there was a band I saw at a concert, at a work conference of all places , call AC/D she
all girl Ac/DC cover band, and they were amazing in a hot girl, nerdy way ( I do work in computers with people who are proudly geeks ) The lead gitaurist was amazing at covers .( and yes I am the largest and least pasty white person at my work) ...any how they ended up forming another band call Lez Zepplin

X that is Zepparella. They used to be AC/D-She. That lead guitarist is Gretchen Menn. The base player Angeline Saris is also excellent. They really sound fantastic! Worth ckecking out.
