What up! Some of you may have noticed I haven't been around much lately. Been busy working for family enjoying my kids and thinking of starting a little side business. I made my first table last weekend hopefully the first of many. I'll also be making beds chairs and many other smaller wood pieces. So this is what I did. This was just the cheapest wood from Home Depot Doug fir. Turned out pretty ice for shit wood I must say. Next piece I do is going to be pine and my friend ordered one he wants made from maple.Originally posted by baby1 View PostComment

It looks awesome. What did you stain it with? I love OAK but I know it isn't what we are seeing as much right now. I used a really dark walnut to stain it and then 3 coats of polyurethane clear semi gloss to protect it. Really makes the tabletop shine.Comment
