Glad to hear brother! Mine goes back to the vet in about 7 weeks. Trying to keep her calm as much as possible, but as soon as she sees a rabbit.... boom there she goes! I cringe every time I see her run like that. Doesn't take much for that ACL to tear either. Will keep ya'll updated...

Good lookin' dog with great markings.... cute kid! lol Pits are by far the most loyal dog, protective, and companionship worthy dogs. They thrive off of a ton of attention though. Every time we have to leave ours alone for any amount of time they always pout and look like a couple sad-sacks. They know how to pull on my heart-strings! Almost want to slap a service vest on them and take 'em everywhere we go! DO NOT TOUCH THERAPY DOG AT WORK! lol

Picture doesn't do his markings justice. Great tiger stripes on his sides.

We rescued him from the pound when he was about 2. Best dog I've ever had. He came and rested his big head on my lap 1st day we got him as if to say thanks for saving me dad! Never forget how he looked at me that day.

He was so much better last night when I got home! The anti inflammatory helped him a ton! He stood right up when he heard me rustling with his food and went to outside right after he ate as always!

I'm letting him rest one more day before I take him on an easy walk.

Damn bro, you're making me tear-up! I feel the same way about my two. The female we got from the shelter and the male was given to us by a family member who got it from the shelter as well. Both have been neglected, abused, and abandoned. They both have a safe place now to call home!

Glad to hear yours is doing much better. Give him an extra hug today! lol

I truly feel fortunate we found him. He has such an amazing personality. He could truly be a save pitbull's spokesmen! They adore him at the vet cause he puts his paws up on the counter and greets all the workers and gives the vet a huge hug and kiss lol.

                                Re: Worried about my dog....

I'm glad to hear it's not bad news. I hate hearing bad news about our dogs.

So, I've had two pits myself (many other dogs but) they were big w muscle and just a big structure, and as you know, they are hard on their bodies. I have found that giving them dasequin along w chondroitin (glucosamine usually comes in the same pill these days so bonus) really made a difference in how they felt. The vets reaction eventually is to put them on rimadyl, but it's a mild steroid (oral) so you know the concerns there. Just my experience.

And he's a good looking dog man!
