I hate t when even your own wife does not understand your hearing loss

I have a lot of loss n both ears and even when it is totally quiet and the tv is up it is hard to understand what is being said even with hearing aids. She is always turning her crap up super loud which makes it impossible to hear anything. Then when i ask for it to be turned down i get yelled at for having my stuff up. Ugh no one understands just how horrible t is when you cant hear anything. Just the slightest noise around while you are trying to hear something and you cannot understand anything sounds like charlie brown teacher.

I'm in the same boat as you brother. I have bad tinnitus that comes and goes along with some hearing loss that comes along with it and I feel like no one fully understands it.

Lol. I think I could have today. Im in the phase of i hate my wife. But i know it will get better. I really pissed off god in a previous life. Two red heads and this. Really though my second wife was the bomb. Too bad that didnt work out. Maybe in the future. Who knows. But i think my punishment is this for all time. Guess i can survive it. Can only get better, right?

It's tough as hell brother I won't lie. I'm at the super annoyed stage with mine as well. I know the kids are difficult and wear u down but she sucks at managing her time and I know she wastes half the day playing on her phone.

My dad always talked about "selective hearing" when we were younger... I didn't realize just how real it is until I started doing it!

So the best part is, she goes to the grocery store today, comes home and puts a new door knob on pantry with a key lock because she says the kids keep stealing the food she bought, really she is saying it is my son and not her two criminal slut daughters, they are perfect. The only reason they are not in jail is because I paid a lawyer to defend them. Never again. Oh and her two oldest sons are felons. One is a convicted sex offender. But at least they are not allowed in my house.

So, I guess now, I am not allowed to eat unless she gives me the food or I get permission. I think prison would be easier. I know combat would be.
