Gonna get some Shapton stones to keep it super sharp. Also gonna send it in to get it sharpened way beyond done what the manufacturer does. It's sharp from store, but not nearly as sharp as it could be. Has a little drag cutting. My safety razor has none. Overall it is cool.

For a lather, I put in a small amount of cream, couple drops of glycerin and some shaving soap in a little shaving bowl, mix up with brush and put on. It's like using cool whip on your face it is so creamy. Awesome mix.

Solid plan. Sending it off is worth it if they know what they are doing. I can put a nice edge on a blade....by my dad can take it to a whole different dimension with his skill level and water stones!

That does sound like a great cocktail to shave with!

It is great used it twice now won't go any other way. Never thought I would be so whatever on shaving. when I went in the Marines at 18, I barely had nut hair now my face s like a steel forest. Eventually I am gonna get a second straight razor so I can alternate and when one needs sharpening I will have another at the ready.

Like juice, once you try it, you will never go natural again.

Lol that's a Boy Scout plan for sure! Always be prepared!

Gear has made my body more hairy but I don't feel my facial hair is more pronounced
