I am not up on the in's and outs of powerlifting spotting, but that dude on the side closest to the camera was freaking useless. At least the other guy had his hands under the bar and was actively following it, the other kid just freaking stood there during the whole lift.

Wow...and they failed as spotters...that is ridiculous, cost the kid his life. I have always said I would die under the bar but I think I will retract that statement after watching this, no thanks. If my spotter failed me like that I would come back to drop a bar on his head!

I had a spotter fail once. He was too busy yaking to chicks when I almost tore my pecs. What a dumbass.
