well they are posting some old arnold contests from the early 90's
see andreas munzer, momo benaziza sonny schmidt mike mattarazzo and some guys that are still alive

anyhow you young punks might want to see what passed for big before Dorian Yates and Nasser

Yeah I remember seeing this on TV and I recorded it ,and for you young kids it was on something call VHS
I have no idea where the tape is and even if I did don't have a vhs player , and this is a much better copy.

this was the classic BB battle that matched the mass of sonbaty and more classic physique of wheeler
Arnold does the commentary . I love the comment he makes about arron baker "I could win with that physique" what a mind f*ck
Ron Coleman was Mr o , yet, 4 previous AC winners, Sonbaty ( second in 97 mr o and there are people that say he should have won)
and throw in muscle mass monster Dilllett, Priest ( if he was 4 inches taller would win ) and I always like Harrison.
Don Long went into kidney failure after but had incredible physique. Someone you knew was destined for greatness

I remember this being on UPN, a network that is remembered for Star Trek Voyager...and that is about it(.. did it last more than a year?)
great line up ,rock, concert lighting, and a lots of switching cameras , angles and basically ruins the whole thing if you are a bodybuilding fan, if you are regular person it might be more interesting. IMHO you want to see a front lat from the front, not from side, then angled up and then panning over the bodybuilder to show the audience .This is not a football game during the huddle. The only worse coverage for a bodybuilding contest is the 2001 Mr O, where they kept panning the audience and front lat from the side ..

I remember those days and the 80s reading Muscle and Firness and trying everutging they talked aboutvto get bjgger. Never worked like I hoped for, but I eventuality got big and ripped, and now 17 surgeries for wearing out tendins and two hernias, lateri wish I jad never go e above 200 lbs. Would have been much better off and not fighting to just stay in the gym. I make zero testosterone among other little things.

Good videos, brings back the memories and reminds me we are all human and all destined for the dirt nap.
