Still slight fluid, my coach wants me to see the doctor and maybe get it drained if not gone by week's end. Know what I think may have aggravated it so bad is I am an avid roller, I am always on the floor with my rumble roller...on my elbows when I roll my IT bands, hips, glutes, and think it may have added to it. Keep you guys posted.

Hmmm I do this too daily. Might need to be careful. Recently graduated to a lacrosse ball as well. Dear god the hips and glutes, Kill me.

Dude, right now my right Piriformis muscle has 2-3 big knots in it which is sending a pain down my leg and into the outside part of my calf, I use a La Crosse ball for that purpose and was rolling on it this morning before work and just about sent me through the roof it is so painful, then used the rumble roller to ease the glutes and hams...it is a daily ritual for me, no more sitting on couches, I am on the floor 90% of time I watch TV or just hang out with my girls...the Piriformis is a little bugger that is for sure.

Amen...can't stop, but giving the body some solid rest once in a while is necessary for us now. If I feel like I am over training or not recovering like I should, take 4 days off from lifting, stay on cardio and eat the same and let the body recover and grow. Train smarter not harder as my coach drills in me all the time.

Absolutely...it's a bit of a different game then 20-30 years ago.
Went to my doctor today to have it looked at, good news is no infection or reason to have it drained, she said it will go away on its own as long as I am nice to it...but she was like "I haven't seen you since 2016" and my blood pressure was a bit high then, and it was today 150/90 or somewhere around there. She was drilling me on supplements I take, why am I taking Vitamin B12, why do I take so many supplements? She isn't on the up and up of our lifestyle obviously. Anyway wants me to go and get a bunch of bloodwork, so I guess to pacify her I need to just mellow out on what I am doing, go down to a TRT dose of test (100-200mg EW), and get the bloods done...she says I will probably be put on a low dose of blood pressure medication...told me weight lifting is not heart healthy exercise, etc..etc...etc. So I guess my question would be how long should I wait once I get down to TRT dose to go get my bloods done for her, and I think I will do my own before I do her request. Comments??? AM or OD???

MA, I won't comment on the amount of time or "process" for your prep for your official bloodwork. OD and AM are the guys for that and I look forward to hearing from them about this as well for my own edification. However, I am glad that she is concerned about your blood pressure and wants to work on that. Mine was in the same range as yours for a while. This last fall when I went in for the annual, it was even a bit higher with some tachycardia. He put me on something and I have been fine and I am grateful that he insisted. I kept thinking that with as high as my pressure was, that I was just playing Russian roulette considering the heavy squats, bench and deadlifts. Now, I go in and lift with peace of mind.
Plus, I know I am more than 10 years older, but age starts playing a role. You're a healthy bro and this is all just "fine tuning".
Keep us posted and Happy Easter!

Ditto as a survivor of and recover of chf, happy your keeping up on the bp.
Yeah I know and will get a handle on it, going to make some changes on my end like drop all sodium except natural occurring, cardio 7 days a week, and been staying away from red meat, eating a ton of fish and chicken. Will do my own bloods before I do my doctors just to play it safe. She wants to put me on meds, didn't offer any natural ways, but yes BP is extremely important to control.

Yes ejection fraction was down to 13% went into vtac for 9 seconds had an icd implanted. Fast forward 10 years and my heart had remodeled back to normal( had icd removed a few years back). I would say not giving up/ the clean diet/supplements/ and exercise also I think there are some genetics at play, I seem to regenerate and heal well. Also taking my bp/heart meds Not a big fan of all pharma but getting bp under control was essential also responding well to the Coreg, for the atrial fib.
