Went to my doctor today to have it looked at, good news is no infection or reason to have it drained, she said it will go away on its own as long as I am nice to it...but she was like "I haven't seen you since 2016" and my blood pressure was a bit high then, and it was today 150/90 or somewhere around there. She was drilling me on supplements I take, why am I taking Vitamin B12, why do I take so many supplements? She isn't on the up and up of our lifestyle obviously. Anyway wants me to go and get a bunch of bloodwork, so I guess to pacify her I need to just mellow out on what I am doing, go down to a TRT dose of test (100-200mg EW), and get the bloods done...she says I will probably be put on a low dose of blood pressure medication...told me weight lifting is not heart healthy exercise, etc..etc...etc. So I guess my question would be how long should I wait once I get down to TRT dose to go get my bloods done for her, and I think I will do my own before I do her request. Comments??? AM or OD???
Their is so much I want to say MA, but I respect you to damn much !!

Enanthate: It metabolizes in roughly 4-5 days. It can even remain in the body (in very small amounts for 2 weeks)
100mg of Testosterone Enanthate yields - 73mg of actual testosterone, the rest is ester weight. Injections every 5 days is best, but as we all know everyone is unique in their response to drugs .. From what I have seen in my experience the approximate dose that should put you within optimal ranges (650ng-1100ng) is 100mg-200mg IM every 5-7 days. Of course there are factors come into play including your baseline levels and biology.

Cypionate: It metabolizes in roughly 7-8 days. It is considered a 'long-acting' testosterone. 100mg of Cypionate yields-68mg of actual testosterone. A good dose would be similar to Enanthate, more commonly between 100mg-200mg IM every 7 days.

We take B-12 / Folate to "reduce" Homocysteine levels------

PM me if you think it's important for me to hear, I am tackling the BP with removing all sodium from my diet except for naturally occurring from foods, no red meat, cardio EVERYDAY from here on out, meditation in The Word, and doing this naturally and I will have my BP checked daily once my BP cuff and system is delivered. I know how important it is to get my BP down, and will schedule more bloods without her prescription...I just don't have any confidence in her, she is fine for my wife and daughters, but I am a 267 lb bodybuilder that needs to drop muscle and lean mass because it's not good for me. She literally asked me if I exercise...really? I am working on my blood pressure so don't think I am ignoring it.

She asked you if you exercise...WTF? Really! That is funny and tragic at the same time. Why do you go to her? Is it because of insurance assignment or something? Surely there is a doc nearby that gets it..

She is local and she is also my wife and daughters doctor too, when my insurance changed I lost my old doctor and had to find a new one. Yeah will look for another one, thought it would be nice to have one doctor for the whole family and in town...but yeah.

I cant even believe she would ask you if you exercise? That was purely sarcasm or she cant see well. She maybe good with the gals but yes, it sounds like you need another doc for you

She said weight lifting isn't heart healthy exercise, and having as much muscle mass as I do isn't either...she doesn't like bodybuilders obviously.

Sounds like it and would be interesting to hear her reason behind that.

True that! I think she just is a by the book kind of doctor, has no personal experience with specimens such as myself

You know, could also be a sexist power thing with her. She might be uncomfortable with hyper masculinity. This is northern CA. lol

Was thinking the same. She may be great for your girls but not for you. Sounds like she made a judgement and didnt have your best interest as priority

I have personally heard "doctors" utter some of the most incredibly unbelievable bullshit...

One was touting her belief that "they" should medicate the water supply (guess she doesn't think Fluoride has done enough damage??)

Another was consistently pushing flu shots on an ailing elderly family member I was caring for at the time. They got quite upset with me after I adamantly refused to allow them to give my family member the flu shot. As if that wasn't bad enough, said "doctor" came right out in favor of withholding medical care for the elderly stating that it wasn't cost effective.

That was our last visit with that "doctor".

I try to remind people that doctors are essentially "people mechanics". Just like an industrial mechanic, there are good ones and there are bad ones. Then there are some that are downright malevolent.

                                Sorry to wander off topic.
