well I admit I am a geek
For Black Friday I got an SSD for a great price to replace the hard drive in the laptop
Well tihe holidays and everything I finally get around to it on installing on Christmas Eve Morning...
I get 20% done and the thing hangs ... reboot and the drive is dead ( apparently a readon it was so cheap) and I thought SSD were supposed to be more durible than hard drives ..
mailed it back , got the replacement and installed it today ..
I am surprise how fast thing boots ... takes about 1/3 the time...
the whole thing is much faster , and theortically have a long battery life
anyhow ,.,if you have a drive crapping out ...I can high recommend this upgard it was eay and painless
