Re: Secure e-mail provider
what about the fbi carnivore server... that was years ago.. I can image that technology has only has gotten better. However also given the work done against oppressive governments there is also some pretty good counter measures.. my understanding the best way to go is pay as you go cell, with emailOriginally posted by AgentYes View PostThe only concerns I am aware of are regarding it being an Israeli company. Perhaps USG could bring pressure to bear releasing? Nowhere close to the risk of us or Canada servers as far as I'm concerned.
use temp email to set up the gmail and you should be anonymous enough.. granted don't get caught with the phone . or pay with credit card

Re: Secure e-mail provider
I do believe its outside of the US for certain. I read through some of the pages cuz I'm a geek and a number if the words are spelled differently as in organisation.Originally posted by AgentYes View PostThe only concerns I am aware of are regarding it being an Israeli company. The govt has the ability to crack any encryption system please don't doubt that. I operate under the premise that this business isn't worth it to them. Actual terrorists maybe. My she purity concerns are random words getting picked up and noticed and LE somehow having logs/records released to them AFTER they are making a case. Honestly I don't think q hypothetical fictional other person gets caught through their communications. I think that the communications are part of the case that gets built around them. If they do get caught through communications it is be sure they are unknowingly corresponding with LE not because LE has unleashed the giant encryption cracker robot against their email provided.

There have been cases where they cannot crack encryption and guys w childporn walk free. The most recent ruling protects people from having to give the encryption key because of the 5th amendment.Originally posted by AgentYes View PostThe govt has the ability to crack any encryption system please don't doubt that. An appeals court ruled last week that in certain cases, handing over the password to an encrypted hard drive is a form of giving testimony, and is protected under the Fifth Amendment. But that doesn't mean criminals can use password protection to hide evidence -- decryption is only protected if prosecutors don't know what's on the drive.Credentials:

I surely wouldn't take my chances against them.Originally posted by AgentYes View PostLet us say I am not counting on holding up against government encryption cracking efforts. I want a provider that won't release.Credentials:
