I have pstd too and refused to take anything for about 7 years and finally decided to a year ago and it has helped the ptsd a lot but the depressions still does hit, just not as hard. Remember when you feel that lonley place, that it WILL pass. Stay strong!

Thank you baby1 yes I take meds for bi-polar I'm on some strong stuff Geodone, but the winter makes it so bad that just barely keeps my head above water, I really think a warmer climate would help, Iron has me looking very seriously at Vegas.

I always have my shake before bed, like right when I'm laying down. When I'm training of course which I'm trying to make it back into the gym Monday. This is the @! time I have done this, swearing every time I wouldn't let myself get out of shape again, at least I didn't drink every night like last year, so I'm not fat, just mushy.

I remember a quote from a long time ago on a tv comedy show
"good mental health is like good sex...sometime you just have to fake it .."
the irony of course is a group of relatives that were going through family counselling at the time laughed the hardest . to be honest .. there is somewhat of a grain of truth in that ... some times you have to suck it up and get out there in order to pull your self out of the rut... and sometimes the rut owns you..

don't let the rut own you Kaz.. get out there....
              I am rooting for you

You are welcome. Have the doc check it. I know sometimes it is not that we dont know what we need to do...it is just getting the motivation to get up and do it and when feeling down, simple things can seem so big. Hang in there

I feel for ya brother. I have the same type of depression issues, especially during the winter months. Get your test., vitamins, & minerals back on point and hang in there. Things will get better.

I don't have many friends local anymore. My 1 good buddy left town to travel the country snowboarding. My only friend left is the buddy I'm benching with today. He loves ladies, guns, iron so we hit it off great. Hell I set him up with one of my dream women!

It's hard to find a great buddy that has your back like at the mc!
