It's like the gym debate... What bring more people old smelly power lifting gym or fancy gym w all the latest equipment what market are U reaching out too. What market would bring in more money

I don't feel that's a valid analogy. Yes spending money to make a gym nice will surely bring more ppl.

When I go supp shopping I already know what products I want and just care about the price. I'd buy it from a industrial storage warehouse if it was the best deal!

Now if its a smoothie place and healthy food where ppl are going to chill and u wanna entice them in...then yes I agree. If I'm after a jug of protein I'm not going to go to a nicer place I could care less

I used to go to a supp store that also made food. I made friends with the 2 hot girls that work there. I'd flirt with both of them crazy every day. Sure they are one reason I went....that and the great food. U know what I never bought from them?? Their pricey ass supps. I'd buy them from allstarhealth.com.

Now on the flip side their is this place by my that does fancy salads and proteins drinks, shakes etc. it's In a fancy part of town and its sure is nice inside they charge $8+ for a smoothie. Ppl like the atmosphere. if ppl are going to hang out and linger then yes....if u make the atmosphere it brings the ppl for sure.

Case and point. Unless u know for certain somehow u will be booming right away.....u have to find that blend of not a dump but not staring off seriously in the financial whole.

Sure it can be a pain to revamp a place but if bus is going that good it's worth the hassle. Ppl wanna see what's new at the store. It becomes like a re-opening to spark even more business.

I work in a high end salon that was gutted overnight by the one owner. WE had 1 week to put things together and we went to IKEA an bought shelving/ display cases, order our stations, sinks and evrything to build up the salon fast. Very cost efficient and clean looking, as well as sturdy. You can arrange displays to be very inviting and you dont need to spend lots on what products are displayed in. Is either one of you good at "marketing"? Or does someone do that for you? You can always upgrade down the line as your business grows. I am like your wife I guess, I like fine things too but I buy for the product, not all the fluff. Let us lknow how it works out

Ding...ding...ding!!! We have a winner!!! Who does more shopping and spends more money on things that will make them look better and feel better??? Unless you are a gay man...the answer is women!!! Men will spend more money on AAS and food...just saying.

An attractive clean organized professional looking establishment will always do better IMHO. Even though Max Muscle is a franchise, their look and professional quality brand sells!!!

My wife buys zero supps lol. But yes we are making the place look nice even with my plan still not a dump. Plus we will have to revamp anyway if it takes of because we wanted to incorporate Cityblends smoothies into our business.

I can't relate. My wife won't even take bcaa. She barely takes a protein shake. There is a fancy organic/hippy super market by us called whole foods. Super nice place. She hates to go there cause its outrageously priced. She only gets products she can't find at trader joes or other places there. My wife is not a materialistic person. She like me knows what brand she wants and is price shopping.

She was desperate for a haircut and asked if the girl that does mine could cut hers after. She loved it and laughed that even with a nice tip both our haircuts combine cost less then her old girl. She uses my girl now lol.

I get what u mean bro...... Just not in regards to a supp shop.
even if there was half naked girls running the place. Sure I'd go and enjoy the eye candy...then I'd go home and order it online real cheap lol.

I've been to plenty supp shops they are all the same and rarely have what brand of product I want. The sales ppl Are clueless idiots.

I stand by what I said. If it was a food/restaurant/smoothies place where ppl will be eating and hanging out....yes make it nice.

I should mention I also don't buy much for supps. B-5, liver stuff, protein,bcaa, Karolyn. That's about it. The real stuff is called food and aas lol.

I went to whole foods once looking for a nose sucker for the baby. As for price my lease is pretty cheap and if we profit $5-10k a month is all I need not looking to get rich of it. Also getting a website made but under a different name so I can have 2 different prices.

Oh one thing we doing different is not just marketing to the gym rat we will be carrying large amount of vitamins, etc. wife also wants to carry the natural baby stuff because where I live everyone's a bunch of hipsters, hippies, or just green.

The market for supps and stuff is so much broader now than just the 'gym rats",lol.. Sounds like you both have a good plan in place.

Ok well u gave a good idea here. Green ppl will spends 8 trillion times what something is really worth if it makes them all warm and fuzzy thinking they bought something organic and helped the planet lol.
Women will spend anything on their babies and the green, natural, organic movement is bigger then ever and will only grow.
